This is Doom (TheDoomkitten) and I am extremely interested in this, holy smokes. I'll be available every day from after 8 PM EST until whenever ungodly hour at the very least, and my schedule will be flexible enough to play in the session at any time on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As far as potential character concepts go:
Old Generation: A gruff Raemethian Mage Hunter knight who, after being cast out of her guild and Raemeth, was hired by a Hirac noble family to take out their primary competition. Unbeknownst to any of them, the other family also hired a renegade Mage Hunter, and she came back from an assignment just in time to stop the renegade from killing the only daughter of the family... while the rest weren't so lucky. With the only heir to the family surviving the assassination attempt soon becoming public knowledge, she fled with the girl to keep her safe from the many plots to kill or use her.
New Generation: An apprentice blacksmith who lost her eye in an accident. A kindly stranger replaced it with a state-of-the-art miniature Aetheric Engine in exchange for her paying back her debt by hunting monsters and doing the stranger's errands, using the new magic granted by the engine (weapon creation in short) to aid her in her tasks. Bubbly, kind, also moderately bummed and freaked out by her current situation but there's not much she can do about it so she's rolling with the punches.
