[With no further ado, Beatrice claps her hands once, and the parlor shatters!
As the surroundings disintegrate, new ones replace them. Instead of an elegant but small room, they are now standing in a vast, needlessly ostentatious courtroom. The walls are all painted gold (or possibly made of actual gold), and the place where the judge would preside from is notably missing, in favor of a great opening into nothingness.
At one end of the court, Phoenix, Maya, and Battler. At the other end, the Endless Witch, Beatrice the Golden.]
