Perhaps you do not remember me. After all, ten years have passed since I last saw you. However, if you recall our friendship with any fondness, then please allow me to ask one last favor of you, in memory of the bond we once shared.

PREMISE
Cape Florence, Maine, 1914. Five children grew up here, inseparable friends. They believed nothing could separate them, but the world is more complicated than they believed it to be. Life moved on. A war began. Once by one, they left Cape Florence to begin their lives in earnest. All of them, save for the youngest - a carefree girl named Grace Taylor.
Cape Florence, Maine, 1924. Four estranged friends receive identical letters from Grace, predicting her untimely death and urging them to return to Cape Florence. As it so happened, all four had the time and resources to make the journey. So, they returned, ten years later, for a reunion in a very different town than the one they grew up in.
When the Coyotes Cry is a story of mystery and uncovering secrets. Who killed Grace Taylor? What secret does Cape Florence hide? What is The Master? As long as you keep your wits about you and refuse to give in, you will certainly reach the truth.
When the Coyotes Cry is a story of ancient evil, far beyond what humans can comprehend. There is no mystery to solve, no truth to reach - there is only The Master. The digger you deep, the more your minds will unravel, and when you succumb to despair, you will witness the end of the world.
What is the true nature of this tale? The unknown, or the unknowable?
GAMEPLAY
The system I will be using for this campaign is a modified version of the GUMSHOE variant Trail of Cthulhu. It is not necessary to own the rulebook, or know the rules, or even be familiar with tabletop roleplaying. The rules will be introduced gradually over the course of the game.
To make a character, all you need is this:
SCHEDULING
I am seeking four players, to meet once a week for 2-3 hours per session. This game will begin after Minus World ends - best estimate would be early Summer 2017. I am also seeking a Mystery Advisor - someone to bounce ideas off of in order to make sure that we can produce a satisfying challenge for the players without any inconsistencies.
